Shooting with friends and family can be some of the most enjoyable times on the range that responsible armed citizens can have. A couple of weeks ago, we received a frantic call from one of PSA’s longtime friends Will C. from Charlotte (by way of Indianapolis!!). He had just bought the newest version of Springfield’s Saint line of AR-15 rifles: The Edge. From what we have read about this little puppy, Will definitely made a good buy!! When we got the pics from him, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share it with you guys!!!
The Edge perpetuates the quality and ruggedness that you’d expect from the Saint family of AR rifles and pistols. The lower receiver on the Edge is machined from a solid billet of aluminum rendering the rifle to be just a tad bit over 6 lbs. This guy also has an extremely lightweight and slim hand-guard….which by the way buckaroos, undoubtedly equates to some slick handling!!! The Edge family of AR rifles also features an ambidextrous selector switch (for Safe and Semi-automatic modes). One of the most impressive features of the Edge is Springfield’s new modular, short-reset, single-stage trigger. This trigger assembly is a proprietary design, and has received rave reviews from many professional shooters!! All in all…. this rifle gets the PSA stamp of approval!! Happy shooting Will!!!!!
