If any skill is a perishable one, shooting is!!!!  As often as we can, we try our best to get involved in training hosted by external agencies.  Recently, we were lucky enough to be able to attend the Handgun Series of instruction at the Sig Sauer Academy, and we literally had a BLAST!!!  Over 1000 rounds later, and much much more knowledgeable, we are still replaying the memories of the challenging drills and tactics we learned!!

We were fortunate to be under the tutelage of some of the most experienced instructors in the world for Handgun 102, Handgun 103, and Handgun 104!  This series of courses takes shooters from the most basics of handgun shooting i.e. grip, stance, and trigger control to advanced pistol techniques like shooting while moving and non-traditional shooting platforms.

All in all, this trip was one of the most memorable training experiences we’ve had!!  We suggest to all shooters to visit the Sig Sauer Academy if you have time!!!  ***And remember…if your trainer doesn’t train, you’ve probably got the wrong trainer!!!***
