Like a cocaine addict looking to re-acquire that feeling of his first time, we had been looking for the next Sig Sauer pistol to add to our already blossoming Sig arsenal.  Lo and behold…..the Legion P229 was our next hit!!!  We needed a compact size pistol chambered in 9mm, and the Legion was a most wonderful choice!!!

This pistol comes out of the box with a litany of upgrades that would most definitely cost aftermarket-ers well over $600!!!  The Legion P229 is finished in a Sig proprietary PVD coating, comes with custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, and the newest version of the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights. This guy has a reduced and contoured Elite beaver-tail, which is great for shooters that desire a higher grip, but a reduced profile; all resulting in the elimination of any printing.  The Legion has aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard that tend to enhance the grip.  Sig has an X-Five undercut that has also been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide shooters greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks.  The pistol has an enhanced polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) and is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc., P-SAIT trigger.

Normally we take this time to tell you guys some of the upgrades or alterations that we have made to our firearms, but the Legion comes upgraded fresh out of the box!!  What we did like was the fact that Sig decided to give us 3 magazines!!  Good looking out Sig!!!

Needless to say….this pistol gets the PSA stamp of approval!!!
