The Good ‘ole days….

Growing up in the south definitely had its privileges for us here at PSA!  I must take the time to say now, that the gun culture in the south is like non-other!!!  We love our guns!!!  From the valley’s in Tennessee, to the flat lands of Texas, to the wonderfully rolling hills in Georgia, guns have played a big part in our culture.

Taking a short trip down memory lane, I remember a time in which you could pull up to your local Zayre’s discount market, and see several pick-up trucks in the parking lot.  Although the trucks were not the amazing part, the amazing part is that 75% of those trucks had a rifle rack in the back window, fully stocked with a nice rifle (and usually a decent piece of glass!).  What’s more, is that any one of those trucks could be unlocked, windows rolled down, and unattended.  And guess what buckaroos?!?!?!?  The local police department was NEVER called out in reference to stolen rifles from these trucks.  These were the good ole’ days!!

Even more than that, there were no school shootings, there were no mass shootings at malls or movie theaters, and there were no crazies bursting in public places taking their frustrations out on innocent people!  Back in the good ole’ days, firearms were just as accessible, if not more then, than today.  But, now due to popular media, the accessibility of firearms is the reason these crazed maniacs are able to carry out the tragedies that they commit?  No sir!  The short and sweet of it is this….. It’s not the accessibility of firearms that has changed people!!!  It’s the character of man that has changed.

Sometimes, we have to take a step back and look at the good ole’ days!  We sure miss those times!!!
